Quick Start

Your pricing can be sorted in the next few minutes. Work through these four steps and the Toolbox will be running on your own numbers, ready for your first quote.

Step 1: Set Up Your Profile

When you sign up, your dashboard (called My Tools) shows a short getting-started checklist. Start with the Set up your profile step.

Fill in your business name, florist type and currency, then save. Saving loads a starter library of flowers and sundries with default prices, so you can price your first arrangement without typing a full list from scratch. Every price is yours to edit whenever wholesale costs change.

Step 2: Set Your Business Defaults

Next, set your Business Defaults so the tools open with your figures already filled in. Click your name in the top right corner, then click Profile. Scroll down to the Business Defaults section.

Here you can set:

• Your VAT rate, and whether you are VAT registered
• Your default markup multiplier
• Your default hourly labour rate
• Your default delivery charge

Click Save Defaults when you are done. Many pricing tools read these settings, so the sooner they are in place, the less you retype. For the full run-through, see the Business Defaults guide.

Step 3: Price Your First Arrangement

With your profile and defaults in place, the Arrangement Calculator is the best tool to start with. It is free on the Lite plan, with up to 100 saved arrangements.

Add flowers and sundries from your price lists, set your labour, and confirm the VAT rate. The calculator builds up your cost price, applies your markups, and shows your selling price and your profit as you go. Adjust a quantity or swap an ingredient and the figures update.

Give the arrangement a name and save it, and you can load it straight back another day. Price one bouquet this way and you will have a good feel for how the rest of the Toolbox works.

Step 4: Find Your Way Around

Head back to your dashboard to see what else is there. Every tool you can use is listed. Search by name or use the category tabs to narrow the grid.

Star the tools you reach for most. They show up in the Jump back in strip at the top of the dashboard, so you can get to them in one click. Tips For Getting Started

• Set your Business Defaults first. Most pricing tools read them, so getting them in early means less retyping on every quote.
• Keep your flower and sundry prices current. Wholesale prices move with the seasons, and each item keeps a cost history you can check. A quick review each season keeps your margins honest.
• Save your regular designs. Build up your weekly bouquets and sympathy work in the Arrangement Calculator, then reload and tweak rather than starting fresh each time.
• Work down the getting-started checklist. It walks you through saving your first calculation and generating your first piece of content, so nothing important gets missed.
