5. Where You Came From
When you first arrive from a link that carries campaign tags (such as utm_source), a Facebook click identifier (fbclid) or another website's address, we keep those details on our own server for the rest of your visit. If you create an account during that visit, we save them with your account, along with the first page you landed on, so we know which post, ad or website brought you. This uses the session cookie listed above and sets no extra cookies. We only save the Facebook click identifier with your account, or share it with Meta, if you chose Accept all.
