How The Directory Works
The directory is a hand-checked list of the people and businesses that help independent florists run their shops. This page explains what is on it, how listings are chosen, and how your business can get on it.
What The Directory Is
The directory lists florist-industry providers: the flower schools, trainers, suppliers and growers, service providers and communities that independent florists actually use. It is not a list of high-street flower shops. It is a list of the businesses behind them.
Each listing carries a short description, the categories and focus areas it covers, the regions it serves, and a link out to the provider's own site.
How Listings Are Chosen
The Florist Toolbox team picks every listing by hand. We add providers we have come across through florists we talk to, suppliers Gemma deals with at Booker Flowers, and businesses readers ask us about. There is no fee to be listed and no paid placement.
Gemma runs Booker Flowers in Liverpool day in, day out, so a listing has to be something a working florist would genuinely point a colleague towards. If it would not pass that test at the counter, it does not go on.
When We List Our Own Product
Florist Toolbox is part of Digital Florists, the shop-management platform the free tools feed into. Where our own product fits a category, we list it and say plainly that it is ours. You will always know when a listing is the company behind this directory rather than an independent provider.
Get Listed Or Claim A Listing
If you run a florist-industry business and want to be listed, send us the details and we will take a look. There is no charge.
Already listed and want to keep your entry up to date? You can claim your listing to manage your own description, links and details. We verify that you represent the business before handing over editing rights, then your edits come to us for a quick review before they go live. The category, status and any featured placement stay with our team, so the rest of the directory keeps reading consistently.
A Link Back To Your Site
Every listing links out to the provider's own website. A florist reading your entry can go straight from the directory to your site, so being listed sends people your way rather than keeping them here.
