What Is The Toolbox

The Toolbox is a set of tools made for florists. It covers the parts of the shop that eat the most time, and cost the most when they go wrong: pricing, overheads, staffing and marketing.

It is made by Digital Florists, the team behind the shop-management platform that florists run their shops on. The same understanding of a working shop shapes every tool here.

Pricing tools and price lists

Work out what to charge for any arrangement, tribute or bouquet, and keep your prices in one place. This family includes the Arrangement Calculator, the Dozen Red Rose Calculator, the Red Rose Profit Analyzer, the Tribute Calculator, the Delivery Profitability Calculator and the Pricing Guide Generator. You also manage your Flowers and Sundries price lists here, and those feed straight into every calculation.

Business tools

Understand the numbers behind the shop. The Business Markup Calculator, Operating Cost Calculator, Cost Evaluation Calculator, Tax Reserve Calculator, True Cost of Employment, Sickness Cost Calculator and Bouquet Sales Break-even give you clear answers on cost, margin and staffing.

Marketing and content

Get past the blank page. Generate bouquet names, card messages, review replies and shop names in seconds, browse hundreds of ready-made Flower Bouquet & Arrangement Name Ideas and Florist Shop Name Ideas, and pick up ready-made prompts for ChatGPT and other AI tools in the AI Prompts library. The Bouquet Inspiration Generator builds a design brief with colours and flower mixes.

A few newer tools are in early access: the Wire Service Profitability Analyzer and the Staff Holiday Planner. Early-access tools are live, but may not be switched on for every account yet. We add new tools over time, so it is worth checking back.

Lite And Plus

You can start on Lite for free, with no card needed.

Lite is free and includes a core set of tools (eight at the time of writing), among them the Arrangement Calculator, the Dozen Red Rose Calculator, the Pricing Guide Generator, and the bouquet-name and shop-name generators. It is a good way to see what the Toolbox does.

Plus adds the rest, including the AI content generators and the deeper business calculators like the Tribute Calculator, Operating Cost Calculator and Tax Reserve Calculator. Each tool on your dashboard shows the plan it needs, so you always know what is included.

Getting Started

Your dashboard, shown as My Tools, is where everything lives. Once you log in, you see every tool you can open, grouped by category. Pick one to open it. Most are ready to use straight away.

Before you price anything, set your Business Defaults: your markup, VAT rate and labour rate. Every pricing tool pre-fills from them. Set your business defaults once and the calculators stay yours.

Already Using Digital Florists?
