How We Check Your Website

What we look at, where AI helps and what your score can tell you.

Start With Evidence

We load your pages in a real browser on a computer and a phone, read their words and code, and run Google’s speed test. Every finding says how we reached it and how you can check it yourself.

The checker runs 153 automated checks and an AI review. Not every check applies to every site, and your report shows which ones ran.

Quick Check And Full Check

Quick check

Your homepage on a computer and a phone, its code, its secure connection and Google’s speed test. It needs no account and uses no AI.

Ordering & Checkout is scored in the full check, because one page cannot show it.

Full check

Adds your contact, delivery, category, product and other key pages, follows a customer from a bouquet towards your checkout and adds an AI second opinion.

Your answers about your shop decide which checks apply. A delivery-only florist is not judged as though customers visit a shop.

How The Score Is Worked Out

Each area is scored from the checks we could measure. Passes count towards the score, problems count against it, and serious problems count for more than small ones. Your overall score combines the areas using the weights shown here.

If we could not check enough of an area, we say so rather than guess. “Could not check” is not the same as “failed”.

Where AI Helps

The full check asks an AI to look at some screenshots and page words, as a second opinion on what a customer might notice. AI findings carry an “AI opinion” label.

They count for less than measured results and do not score speed, search or accessibility. If you disagree with one, use Report a mistake.

Read The Label, Then The Finding

85–100

In good shape

70–84

Some fixes needed

50–69

Needs work

0–49

Needs urgent work

Start with the evidence behind a serious finding rather than chasing a perfect number. Fixing a problem matters more than comparing your score with another shop’s.

What Can Affect A Result

Menus, pop-ups and delivery choices can behave differently from one visit to the next, and a security screen can stop part of a check. Your report shows anything we could not check.

Google’s speed test is one controlled test, not a record of every customer’s phone. Automated accessibility tests find common barriers, not all of them. An AI can misread a picture or your wording.

Each finding gives you a way to check it. Use Report a mistake on a finding when the evidence or advice is wrong.
