Who they are
Digital Florists is shop-management software for florists, co-founded by Gemma Wakerley, who owns and still runs Booker Flowers in Liverpool, alongside engineer Lewis. Because one of the founders is behind the counter day in, day out, the software is built around how a florist works rather than how generic retail software thinks a shop should run.
What the platform covers
It brings the running of a flower shop into one place: a retail POS for the counter, order management for everything coming in by phone, web or relay, an Events area for wedding work, deliveries with route planning, a tasks board, and a customer CRM. Payment tracking is manual, so you record deposits and balances yourself rather than collecting them through the platform.
The Companion driver app
Drivers get a Companion App that handles the delivery workflow, plus viewing, creating and updating the status of tasks. It keeps the run moving and the workroom updated without phone calls back and forth.
The free Florist Toolbox
The platform feeds off Florist Toolbox, a set of calculators and generators for pricing, naming and admin. The Toolbox has both free and paid tools, so some are free to use and others sit on a paid tier. A florist can start with the free calculators to work out pricing before moving onto the full platform.
